Jack designed, and through Sureshot, supplied these explosives stores (magazines). These were for the military and replaced the existing very dilapidated stores. He also destroyed some rotten gelignite. |

Jack has blasted in; England Falkland Islands Jamaica Malawi Montserrat Tanzania Zambia And consulted in very many other countries. |

The picture on the left was taken in 1985 when Jack was much younger, thinner and had dark hair.
It shows him setting up a single throw blast at Maamba using about 50 tonnes of ANFO.
The blast was very successful and was thereafter repeated many times in this Zambian coal mine. |

In 2002, Jack provided EPIC, the UK examining body with a completely new series of examination papers.
